SAINTS COACHING STAFF
Coach Dante Foster returns to the Saints for his 3rd season as a Head Coach and 6th overall. This season Coach Foster will be the Offensive Coordinator. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and he is the Graduation Success Coach on campus. As a player, he began playing football in junior year of high school at Norwalk High School, and he started safety on a 13-1 team with only allowing more than 14 points 3 times and was named all-area and all-league his senior year. He went to play in college at Cerritos College JC; after being a two-year starter, he went to Oklahoma Baptist University, where he became an all-conference strong safety. As a coach, before becoming the head coach, he started as a graduate assistant at OBU for a semester, then came to Interlake as defensive backs coach before being promoted to defensive coordinator. Coach Foster has taken the Saints to a .500 regular-season record for back-to-back years. He led the Saints to compete in a league title championship last season against Highline, won a homecoming game for the first time in 8 years, and took them to the playoffs for the first time in over 5 years. He has brought an atmosphere back to the Interlake community where the players expect to win, and the students have pride in their football team again. He comes from a football family and enjoys every aspect of the game. His core belief as a coach is building a family atmosphere while focusing on high character through accountability, disciplined, hard work, determination, and resilience. He believes in coaching hard but leading with love in the process.
